Ada Davis was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 30,1950 to the late Fred Harris and Correan Jackson. She was a loving wife, mother sister, grandmother and friend. Mrs. Davis hobbies included gardening, playing video games, volunteering at church, shopping, sewing, swimming , and having lunch with church friends. Her church families were True Vine Missionary Baptist Church, Trinity Temple COGIC, and Agape Temple COGIC, she was employed at Frito Lay, 1/2 Priced store, and was a caregiver to elderly seniors and a wonderous homemaker. Mrs.Davis valued serving family, friends, church and community, and made sure most importantly, that her children were take care of. She also thoroughly enjoyed playing and spending time with her grandchildren, hosting holiday dinners, and taking care of her home inside and out.
Ada Mae Davis is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert Cook Jr. and Nathaniel Harris.
Ada Mae Davis leaves to cherish her memories; her husband, Norman Davis ( Lubbock, Texas); three daughters, teresa Jones (Kansas City, Missouri), Michelle Jones (Kansas City, Missouri), and Andrea Davis (Houston Texas); one son, Vernon Jones III (Kansas City, Missouri); two sisters, Emma Cameron and Virgie Ridley; three grandchildren, Mishayla Grant-Jones, Mya Wilson, and Colton Cherry; niece, Twanda Hamilton; nephews, Kelvin Cameron, Michael Cameron, Andre Cameron and Nathaniel Cameron, closest friends, Pamela Mitchell, in-laws, Stanley Ledbetter, Damon Ledbetter, Sherwood Ledbetter (Juanita), James Ledbetter (Tobi), Gloria Walker (Herman), Barbara Pandy, Sharon Warnor (Maurice), Madelyn Ledbetter, all of whom reside in Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends.
