Alayshia M. Durant

Alayshia Monee’ Durant was born December 12,1999 in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of Wendy Wallace and Christopher Durant. She proceeds in death Grandfather: Lewis Pearson, Maternal Great Grandmother: Johnnie Wallace, Maternal Great Grandfather: Benard Cutchlow, Leandrew Wallace, Paternal Great Grand Father: Blaine Durant and Aunt: K-Shaunn Ferguson.

Alayshia graduated from De La Salle Education Center, in Kansas City, Mo. She completed her certification in Phlebotomy and Medical Assistant at Me 2 You Career Academy in Kansas City, MO, where she also received Valedictorian in both programs. Alayshia works as an application processor for the State of Missouri. To Know her is to know she had several nicknames, but to name a few, some called her “Layshia”, her mom called her “Diva”, her sister(cousin) called her “10”. Her presence was everything to so many people, her hugs, smile, and voice just made everything bright. Layshia was an amazing daughter, sister, granddaughter, great granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. LAYSHIA WAS AND WILL FOREVER BE LIFE FOR US! Everyone knows that her favorite thing to ask was, “What we drinking?” She was the life of every party. A time was definitely had with Layshia. If she wasn’t at work or school, she was always with her 10 or her second mom and on that phone with her mom and bestie! She made people laugh and twerk and take a shot, what a time, what a time! She will be more than missed!
