A Glimpse Into Albert’s Life
Albert Lee Cutts, 70, passed away on August 17, 2025, at St. Luke’s East Hospital in Lee's Summit, Missouri surrounded by his loved ones. He was the eldest of 6 children, born January 9, 1955, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Clyde Cutts Jr. and Rose Marie Mack-Cutts.
Albert grew up in Little Rock and graduated from Hall High School. After high school, he attended Pulaski Vocational Technical School where he received a diploma in Data Processing. After completing technical school, Albert furthered his education in Godfrey, Illinois, at Lewis and Clark Community College, where he earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Information Technology.
Albert returned to Little Rock, AR, and began his career at UAMS College of Medicine as a Systems Analyst, faithfully serving for 15 years, during which he was promoted to supervisor in the IT Department.
In 1992, Albert met Audrey Burtin and on September 17, 1994, they were wed and were happily married for 30 years.
In the fall of 2000, Albert and his family moved to Kansas City, Missouri, which was the hometown of his wife Audrey. There he was employed by several pharmaceutical companies before joining St. Luke’s Health System, where he worked for 20 years, retiring in January 2022.
Never neglecting his walk with the Lord, Albert pursued ministerial training at Full Counsel School of Ministry in North Little Rock, Arkansas, and Heart of America Christian College in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a genuine servant leader who faithfully served in several areas of ministry, earning the title of "Elder" under the pastoral leadership of Bishop Eric D. Morrison at Kingdom Word Ministries.
Even when his health began to decline, preventing him from attending services, he deeply missed the fellowship of his beloved brothers and sisters in Christ. Elder Cutts was a distinguished well-dressed gentleman, devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He had a joyful spirit and loved to make others laugh.
Elder Cutts was preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Bobbie Ann Cosen and Deborah D. Cutts.
He leaves to celebrate his homegoing: his loving wife Audrey; four daughters: Jamila Leary, Mya’ll Walker, Mya’shia Brito (William), Brianna Owens; two sons: Mario Jordan (Shanta) and Lavandris Joyner; two sisters: Cynthia Rush (Jerry) and Jacquelyn Cutts; one brother, William “Willie” Cutts; eight grandchildren: Javin Leary, A’Basa Brown Jr., Harlem Brito, EricaSean Durante, Mario Jacai Jordan, Charli Marie Jordan, Marleigh Patrick and Legacy Joyner; two great-grandchildren: Ays’lee Brown and A’Basa Brown III, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
