On January 15, 1958, a baby boy was born to the union of Pauline and Albert Harrison. This would be the last son born to Pauline and Albert. He was named Albert Stanley Harrison (affectionately called “Stan”). Stan’s mother, father, and eldest brother Kevin, all preceded him in death. Stan received his education in the Kansas City Public Schools system where he attended Central High School. At the age of 17, Stan was enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corps where he served as a Military Police officer in Waikiki, Hawaii. He also trained to become a semi-professional boxer, something that he had always dreamed of doing professionally. After his discharge from the military, Stan returned home to Kansas City where he began working at Butternut Bakery. He would spend several years in the bakery industry working with Taystee and Wonder Bread companies respectively. In 1984, Stan married Donna Russell, and to this union two children were born. Felicia Marie Harrison and Stanley Michael Harrison. After the dissolution of his first marriage, Stan married Tina Davis, and to this union two children were born. Kevin Laroy Harrison and Tanecia Michele-Lyn Harrison. The family relocated to Minneapolis, MN in 1988, where Stan continued working in the Bakery Industry until the family relocated to Texas in 2000. Stan, would eventually attend truck driving school where he received his CDL license as a professional truck driver. He eventually retired as a disabled vet and relocated back to the Kansas City area to be closer to his mother. Stan the man was an avid fisherman who spent long hours fishing with his siblings, family, and anyone who wanted to learn the sport. He absolutely loved being on a fishing bank even if he wasn’t catching anything, and he loved listening to his old school music!
Stan leaves to cherish his memory, seven children.
