Albert confessed his belief in Christ at an early age and was baptized at an early age at the Bethel Baptist Church in Blackwater MO by the late Rev. Ray.

He attended elementary school in Blackwater, MO and graduated high school in Booneville, MO from Sumner High School.

Albert was employed by the Missouri Pacific Railroad for five years before he relocated to Kansas City in June of 1958. After moving to Kansas City Albert worked for the Lipton Tea Company 40 years until his retirement in 2000. After retirement Albert continued to work for the City of MO. As a care counter. Albert was one never wanting to be Idle. He was a loyal and dedicated employee wherever he worked.

Albert met the love of his life at the Railroad INN where she worked as a cook and he worked for the railroad. He married Lilly Mae Jackson on July 19, 1958 in Kansas City, Kansas at the Bethel Church of God in Christ on 4th and Stewart, by the late Elder Jackson.

Albert loved the annual Family reunions held in Booneville MO on his relatives’ side., just as much as the ones held on his wife’s side of the family. For years he would pile up who ever wanted to go in the back of his truck and off he would go. Oh, how he loved his family and spending times with everyone from the youngest to the oldest. He loved playing Bid Wist with Bob, they were the pair to beat. Not only that, put the music on and he would cut a few steps. Oh, how he is going to be missed by them grandkids, he loved everyone of the and they loved him. PaPa, Big Al, Bunky you brought so much joy to our lives. You were the gentle giant we will never forget. Rest in Peace Big Fellow.
