Albert Gene Williams

Albert Gene Williams was born on August 2, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri. His parents were AJ Williams and Roverta Jones Williams.

He attended Greenwood Elementary, Central Jr. High, Northeast Jr High, and graduated from Lincoln High School. On November 15, 1976 he joined the United States Air Force. He worked as a Master tech Sargent in the United States and overseas.

He was employed by Uni-guard Security for 16 years.

On June 7, 2003 he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Roberson. They were happily married for 15 years.

Albert’s Christian walk began as a child at the Starlight Baptist Church under Pastor William Rayford. He later joined the Metropolitan Spiritual Church of Christ under Bishop James D. Tindall Sr., where he worked as President of the Men’s Department and on the Usher Board.

Albert departed this life on February 27, 2019 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron, Missouri.

He was preceded into death by his parents; AJ and Roverta Williams, grandsons; Gregory Bolton, Jr., and Cordell D. Bell.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Mary Ann Williams, daughters; Yvette M. Collins, Marvie R. Owens (Andre), Angelia L. Roberson, and Shantella Barnes, sons; Aaron Smith, Xavier Williams, Delbert L. Roberson, twenty one grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, sisters; (his twin), Ava Jean Williams, Alverta Williams, brothers; Thurston Summerville, Ronald L. Williams, Sr., brother in-law; Rev Dr. Virgil Brown, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His Metropolitan Spiritual Church of Christ family.
