Ms. Alesia Bledsoe was born on July 27, 1965, in Kansas City, Mo to Alvin and Beverly Todd.
She was a 1983 graduate of Southeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri. After high school she attended Tyler Texas College in Tyler, TX, on a track scholarship where she excelled in her studies.
She married Flay Bledsoe and out of the that union, Aniece Bledsoe, her one and only child was born.
Alesia began her medical claims career at Blue Cross Blue Shield and continued in this profession for over 30 years at other companies.
Alesia gave her life to Christ at a young age at Holy Ghost New Testament Church under the leadership of her grandfather Bishop Herman Cubit Sr., where she served for several years. She was currently a member of I Can Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Michael McIntosh. Throughout the years, she was involved in multiple capacities within the church. She had a passion for youth and was honored by the Missouri Southern Illinois Diocese with the Servant Leader Award. She enjoyed singing in the choir and with the praise team. She truly loved the Lord.
Alesia had a love for cooking and catering that she eventually turned into a side business. Many knew her for her “Fried Chicken and Mac n Cheese”, and cleaning Chitterlings. She will be remembered for her love for music, dancing, traveling and her infectious smile and laugh. She was also “God Mama” to many.
Alesia was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Todd and bonus daughter, Amber Murphy.
She is survived by her mother, Beverly Todd; daughter, Aniece Bledsoe; sister, Andrea Todd (Quintin); her nieces Kaela Jordan (Damon), Kiana Jordan, and Kiera Jordan, and a host of God children, family and friends.
