Alesia Pointer

Alesia Louise Pointer passed away on Monday, June 19,2023 at Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Alesia Louise Pointer was born June 22, 1965 to Leon and Syble Pointer. She was the youngest of five children. Alesia loved being known as the baby of the family. She attended the Kansas City school District and graduated from southwest high school in 1983. Alesia attended Dickersons business college, earning a degree in business administration. Alesia worked for the Belmont Montessori School in the Hickman Mills school District. During her work experience she worked at various early childhood centers. She also worked as a private accountant for Aetna’s business establishment.

Alesia expressed her hope in Jesus Christ at the age of 12 years old under the Pastoral of Rev. W.D. Brown. She remained a faithful member for 45 years. Alesia was involved in many church activities; Usher Board, Youth Ministry, $1000 Club, Inspirational choir, and Mass choir.

Alesia was preceded in death by her Father Deacon Leon Pointer; Brother’s Michael Leon Pointer; Charles Pointer; Grandparents, Ernest and Lula Pointer; her Maternal Grandparents Willie and Alessia Watts;

To cherish her memory she leaves her Loving Mother Syble Pointer; Three Beautiful sisters; Deborah Ann Pointer; Shirley Marie Ely, (Shy-Quon); Gwendolyn Lavern Dozier; Four Nephews; Ki Twan Pointer (Brianne); Mario Alvarez; David D. Dozier; Nicolas Dozier; Charles Pointer Jr of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Five Nieces; Kilah Pointer; Tarsha Jackson(Kevin Jackson) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Chesaingo Alvarez; Sherita Dozier; Sherese Dozier; Patrica Chavez; Aunt Mildred Kelly of Pune Bluff, Arkansas Uncle Willie James Watts (Maggie) ; Otto Watts ( Margaret ); A Great Uncle; Eddie Watts; Great Nieces and Nephews; along with a host of other relatives and close friends.
