Alexandria Janae Riley-Nelson

Alexandria Janae Riley-Nelson began bringing joy into this world on September 17, 2001, in Kansas City, Missouri, wrapped in the love of her parents, André and Jessica Riley.

Alex was a devoted family member and friend, capable of fierce love and never afraid to challenge the formalities and expectations of life. Above all, she was full of life, curiosity, humor and an unwavering sense of possibility.

Alexandria is survived by: her husband, Elijah; her parents, André and Jessica; her sister, Jada Winchester; her grandmother, Rev. Neadia Riley; the memory of her late grandmother, Karen "Kaylaine" Johnson; her aunts: Erinn Fofana, Regina Trent, Michelle Glover and Victoria Glover; her godparents Robert and Goldena Curry. She also leaves her siblings Tyree Ware, Abdul Ware, Semahj Ware, Semiyah Ware, Grace Allen, Joyel Allen and Trinity Allen; honorary sister, Jacquanise Johnson; and a large, loving extended family of cousins and relatives near and far.
