Alfred J. (Kool-Aid) Lacey 66, was born October 18, 1951 to the union of Alfred & Edith Lacey. He was preceded in death by both parents, one brother: George A. Suggs, four sisters:Eugenia Townsend-Davis, Henrene Murray, Carol Haynes-Blakely and Alfreda Lacey- Smalls-Frazier and one special brother Wilbert Hanson (Lump). Alfred was a lifelong resident of Kansas City Missouri·and received his education in the Kansas City school district. Alfred was known as one of the best sports players in the city. His specialty was baseball and football; he could tell you every player and their history. He was a great lover of watching T.V. and loved the Kansas City Chiefs. He was looking forward to seeing them go to the "Super Bowl". He was last employed at Palestine Retirement Center until his health failed. He was a great lover of the "old school" music and listened to it all the time. He talked about his life with joy and realized that he was very sick, but he accepted it. He fought his battle with strength and will until the end. He leaves to cherish his memory: the love of his life: Jamesetta Lacey, three sons; Alfred "Jarvis" Roberts, James "Carlos" Hill and Jarrell "Mikel" Hill Sr., one brother, Warren A. Lacey; three grandchildren, Jarrell Mikel Hill, Jr., Janell Mykel Hill and Ayden Jarvis Roberts; two special brothers, Frederick James and Gary "Askia" Brown and one special sister, Sheryl Davis.
