Alice Lee

Alice Marie Lee was born August 28, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of Grant Pruitt and Betty Johnson.  She departed this life August 25, 2021.

Alice is preceded in death by her father Grant Pruitt, husband Gary Lee, son Aaron Lee, grandson, Demarco Knott, brother Rev. Dr. Michael L. Dixon I., nephew Ronald Pruitt and Stepmother Patricia Dixon.

Alice excepted Christ in her life at a young age.

Alice fell in love and married the man of her dreams husband Gary Lee over 30 years.

Alice attended school in the Kansas City, MO School District and attended Penn Valley Community College.

Alice retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

Alice Lee knew no stranger always happy, smiling, concerned, giving of herself, had a willingness to help others,

loved to shop, loved her dogs, loved to participate with fund raisers, assisted with battered women shelters, sharing her clothes, loved cooking for the firefighters in the Raytown district once a week and most importantly Alice loved being a wife and a mother.

Children: Gary Knott, Antoinette Knott, and Lanette Knott all of Kansas City, MO.

Brothers: Richard Pruitt Sr, Alvin Dixon (Glenda), Roy Benton (LaQuita) all of KCMO.

Sisters: Betty Stone of KCMO, Bernice Mangum (Kenneth) AZ, Gloria Patterson, Sandra Johnson and Tanya Dixon of Jefferson City, MO.

Alice also leaves her grandchildren Desiree, Asia, Kamari Shamina, De'Andre, Alexis, Charles, and great grandchildren Abrianna, Lonnie, Sebastian, Victor, Amir, Marlee, Skylar, Mea, Leo, Jordon, Lyricsen, Kaine, and Alea,

Aunts, Uncles and a host of Nephews and Nieces.

Alice cherished her relationship with Donna Dixon, Detra Estelle, Ms. Fannie, Janet, Carrie, Deborah, and a host of friends and family.

Alice you will forever be missed.
