Alicia Janae Norwood

Alicia Janae’ Norwood, age 23, passed away on September 15th 2021 at her home in Kansas City, Kansas, leaving behind her two daughters, Leonna August Norwood and Diamound Lamyla Norwood-Lawson. She was born on October 20th, 1997 , 2 minutes after her twin sister, Aalayah Norwood to her parents, Bari Grayson and Albert Norwood.

Alicia grew in in Kansas City, Kansas and graduated from Wyandotte High school in 2016. After high school, she earned her C.N.A. certification. She then moved on to pursuing her passion in dancing while attending Kansas City Kansas Community College.

Alicia planned to open her own dance studio so that she could share her love of dancing with others. She is preceded in death by her older brother, Marlon Hill.

She is survived by her two daughters, Leonna August Norwood and Diamound Lamyla Norwood-Lawson, along with their fathers, Diamiound Lawson and Elbert Mccullough. Her Parents, Albert Norwood and Bari Grayson, Her Siblings, Aalayah Norwood, Keanna Norwood, Shantavia Brown, Rosalyn Blunt, Austen Hardin, David Hardin, and Phillip Hill,Her Aunt Pamela Grayson, her Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Donald Grayson,  along with a host of other sisters, aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends.
