Alphonso Terrell Davis Jr.

Honoring our beloved Alphonzo Terrell Davis Jr., age 11, who was born on May 8, 2014, to Alphonzo Terrell Davis Sr. and Idella Renee Gardener, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Alphonzo was joyful and full of life. His smile could melt heart of those around him. He was known for his bubbly personality, intelligence and kindness.

Alphonzo was honored with the Bit-O-Honey Reward from his school, Bryant Elementary, in Independence, Missouri, because he was also known for being a hugger. He enjoyed playing Roblox and playing with kids in the neighborhood. Alphonzo was always happy and would always treat his peers with love and respect, even when he was sick due to asthma complication. 

Alphonzo taught us about the importance of finding joy in every moment; he would always find ways to make us laugh.

He departed this life on October 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.  He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Curly Roberson; his grandparents: Mary and Clifford Littlejohn and Carmen Johnson; his uncles: Carlos Green and Aphonso Davis Jr.

Left to cherish Alphonzo's memory: his parents Aphonso Davis Sr. and Idella Gardener; his siblings: Izonnie Gardener-Hughes, Ronya Hughes, Ronnie Hughes, Za'Terrion Gardener, and Alyana Gardener-Davis; his grandmother, Marie Davis; his uncles: Michael Davis, Keith Littlejohn, and Ellery Gardner; his aunts: Cheryl Littlejohn, Felicia Littlejohn, Bodisha Gardener, Shavonda Gardener and Cierra McKinney; his cousins: Shantel, Hea'Von, King, Jeremiah, Jessica, Isaiah, Avianna, Gabriella, Kyrie, Bryson, Raya, Elijah Jr., Isla, My'Quira, Tre'Quan, Michael, and Ameria; and a host of other loving family and friends.
