Andre D. Jones, Sr.

Andre Jones, Sr., 59, departed this life on August 12, 2023, at his home in Overland Park, Kansas.  He was born on July 28, 1964, in Kansas City, Missouri to Clyde Jones and Grace Jones.

He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, and graduated from Van Horn High School in Independence, Missouri. After high school, he attended KC Vocational Technical School. He began working for Manhattan Cleaners as a Presser.  He also worked for Ron White, LLC., where he rehabbed houses.

Andre loved music.  He was a music maestro. He loved his family and loved to have them all together.  He gave his life to Christ as a young man. He was very particular about the way he dressed and looked.  Everything had to be on point.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Jones; his grandparents, Gladdies Harris, George Mayfield, and Gennieve Neal.

He leaves to cherish is memories his mother, Grace Jones; the love of his life for over 20 years, Sandra Diamond; five son, Andre Jones, Jr., Donmiante Jones, Randal Jones, Isaiah Gardner, and Gabriel Diamond; one daughter, Daushay Jones; two granddaughters, London Jones and Ivy Diamond; one brother, Bishop James Mayfield; three sisters, Shekena Bass, Vannessa Mayfield, and Kim Mayfield; stepson, Terry Diamond; step grandchildren, Sissy, Camille, Khallen, and Quinton, and a host of other relatives and friends.
