Andrea Lee Boyd

Andrea Boyd passed away on October 21, 2020 at St Luke's Hospice House in Kansas City, Mo. She was born on October 18, 1962 in Kansas City, Mo to James M. Grayson Sr and Barbara J. Harris. She graduated from Southwest High School.

She worked at CVS Caremark for 12 years, also worked at Research and DST for some time. She was involved in the Children’s ministry as a nursery coordinator at Sheffield Family Life Center.

Andrea was preceded in death by her mother and father; nephew, John Harris; uncle, Thomas Harris; mother in law, Kathryn Trigg; aunts, Frances Scruggs and Barbara Hudson.

She is survived by her son Stephen Boyd Jr (Moesha); daughters, Tiffane Dagbovie, Ashley Lounce, Tara Boles-Derico; grandchildren, AyVa Lounce, Stephen Boyd III, Chance Boles, Lamar Derico, Denzel Derico and Cer Carson Derico; brothers, James Grayson, Rodney Grayson, Mark Anthony Harris (Diane); sisters, Kaven Gatson and Marylin Harris and a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Donation Box or Cash App $TiffaneDagbovie. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Sheffield Family Life Center, St Luke’s Hospice House, Blue Springs Dentistry, Metropolitan Spiritual Church, Debbie Baker- Krough and Serenity Funeral Home.
