Listen to Obituary

Andrea L. Godfrey was born to Herman and Gail Godfrey July 24, 1981 in Kansas City Mo.

Missy attended school in the Kansas City School District and graduated from Central Sr High School. She also Attended Missouri Western State College and Missouri Southern State University.

She accepted God in her life at an early age and was Baptized at Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church and later joined Canaan Worship Center.

Missy worked for Sprint for nine years and Cerner which is now Oracle for seven years. She also worked a part-time job at Home Depot that she really loved. She would go to work for Home Depot even when she was not on the schedule. Her brother Adrian is also a worker. If you call him he was either coming or going to work, so I guess it runs in the family.

Missy was a very outgoing, sociable, and cheerful person. Missy was the life of the party and loved being with family and friends, and she had many. Missy never showed favoritism towards any of them; she loved them all equally. She loved traveling and exploring many places. Missy also was the booking agent for her twin brother Andre’. If you wanted to know about any restaurant or new venue she was the one to ask.

Missy loved her daughter Jaliyah 24 /7. She enjoyed sports like basketball and watching footballl. Her favorite team was the Kansas City Chiefs. She could talk with anyone about any player on any team. She enjoyed going to her nephew Jeremiah’s football games regardless of the weather. Missy was always telling her parents about trying something new and different places to go and eat.  She would tell them to stay out of buffets.

Missy will be missed by a host of friends and family.  But GOD loved her too.

Missy leaves to cherish her memories with her parents Herman L. Godfrey and Gail D. Godfrey her daughter Jaliyah S. Conway (Jaliyah father James Conway) two brothers Adrian Godfrey (Tatiana Godfrey ) and Andre Godfrey. Her Grandmother Ms. Remonia Davis, uncle Darrin Davis, Aunt Sandy Guien (Larry Guien) Maurice Godfrey uncle, Tony Godfrey uncle, Vickie Godfrey cousin, Two nephews Richard Shaw and Jeremiah Godfrey.
