Born May 29, 1962, Annette Martin in Leflore County, Mississippi. She was the 5th of 12 children born to Essie Davis and Charles Martin Sr. Annette grew up in North St. Louis, MO where she attended St. Louis Public Schools until she enrolled in Excelsior Springs Job Corps where she obtained her CNA License. Annette relocated to Kansas City, MO. In 1986, where she later continued her education in becoming an LPN. After over 30 years in nursing, she left the nursing field and went to work for the IRS, as she continued her educational journey. Annette loved God and stayed studying her bible, along with falling down the rabbit holes of conspiracy theories. She had a love for life, music, shopping, and spending time with her family on holidays so she could decorate and have fun with her loved ones. Annette loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren over everything. A love like Annette’s will be missed and can never be replaced.
Annette is preceded in death by her grandmother Pauline Davis, parents Charles Sr. and Essie Martin, brothers: Charles Martin, Robert Earl and Joe Martin, sisters: Charlie Mae Anderson & Barbara Martin-Bratton
Annette leaves to cherish her memory 5 children: 2 daughters, Keithan (Horace Sr.) and LaRonda, 3 sons, Bobby Sr. (Nia), Keith Jr., and Leodie Jr., 12 grandchildren: Arneecia, Nyla, Aryohna, Bobby Jr., Horace Jr., Alyna, Aniyah, Londyn, Kelyn, Lailah, Autmn, Kymora, and 2 great-grandchildren, Ariyah, Ariyan
2 sisters: Kenthan and Sophia, 7 brothers: Charles (Shug), Robert, Willie, Ezell, James, Brian, Alan, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
