Anthony C. Andrews-Harlin, 51, passed on November 6, 2017 in the Home. He was born on October 30, 1966 to Rosetta and Lawrence Harlin. He attended School at Southeast Senior High School and worked for Georgia Pacific for the past 10 years. One of ten kids, Anthony “Carl” loved horses and was a member of the Bo Dollar Saddle Club. That passion later developed into a love for cars, and everyone knew just how much he loved his cars. He also loved to travel, especially when he went to Oklahoma, which was considered his second home.
On February 29, 1988 he welcomed his son, Carl Anthony Harlin into the world. 3 years later on August 11th, 1991 he welcomed his baby girl, Crystal Marie Harlin. Carl loved being around people, spending time with his family and most of all hanging out with his best friends (Brothers). He made sure that he was the life of the party at every event, family function, or gatherings. When he was with his people, he made sure that everyone was either, laughing, dancing, or just enjoying themselves in general. He was definitely a “people person”. He was also into sports and loved the Raiders. When football season rolled around, you knew he would be wearing something with the Raiders on it, unless he lost a bet.
There are plenty of stories to tell about Carl, but each one would put a smile on everyone’s face. On June 10, 2015 he smiled even bigger when he welcomed his grandson (Mason Northcutt) into the world. He loved spending time with him and watching him run around. Even when he was not feeling his best, he still tried to push through and make someone smile. That is what made him feel good, just a simple smile. To his nieces and nephews, he was considered “Uncle Boo Boo” which they called him in his last days. And to others he was Carl, Anthony, Cole, Coley Cole, or just “My Brother”. He touched so many lives, in so little time. Carl will truly be missed. He was a Wonderful Son, Father, Paw Paw, Brother, and Friend. His memory will live in our hearts forever.
