Anthony E. Bostic

Anthony Eugene Bostic was born on July 2, 1979, in Kansas City, Missouri to Denise Diane Bostic and Dell Anthony Smith.  Anthony departed this life on July 17, 2023.  His maternal grandfather and grandmother, George Smith and Shirley Smith-McGaugh; aunts Charnese Bostic-Wright and Mary Ponder-Bostic; uncle, Anthony Bostic and cousin, Charles Bostic-Wright all preceded him in death.

He was educated in the KCMO School District, graduating from Metro Tech High School in 1998.

Anthony met and married Yolanda Renee Wilson and the relationship blossomed into marriage on October 26, 2012.  He was deeply committed and devoted to his wife.

He was formerly employed at Truman Medical Center and later began employment at Harley Davidson until his health began to decline.  He enjoyed sports and was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Anthony had a strong love for family.  He was a loving and devoted father to his children and a wonderful husband to his wife.  His greatest pleasure was being a father to his children.  Anthony shared a special love and bond with his mother and sister that could not be shaken and that would last forever.  He was a very humble person and an inspiration for the generosity and love he displayed to family and friends. He touched so many people with his "Gentle and Kind" spirit.  His kindness had a lasting effect on everyone that he encountered.  He was known for his willingness to help others and did it from the kindness of his heart.  He will truly be missed by all who loved and knew him.
