Anthony Johnson

Anthony Dwayne Johnson, 65, passed away on July 19, 2021, at Truman Medical Center, in Kansas City, MO. Anthony was born on January 16, 1956 in Kansas City to Leon Gates and Isabella Turner. Anthony grew up in Kansas City, and graduated from Southeast High School.

Anthony began work for Wells Automotive as a Mechanic for 40 plus years.

Anthony was preceded into death by his father Leon Gates, sister Linda K. Johnson, and his brother Louis Smith.

Anthony is survived by his mother, Isabella Turner, brothers; Gary, Darryl Johnson and Leon Gates Jr., sisters; Debra Paul and Sharon woods, his son Dewayne Johnson Sr, his grandchildren; LaCeaihra Washington, Deaihra Washington, DeWayne Washington Jr., along with other beloved relatives and lifelong friends.
