Listen to Obituary

Anthony Wells, 48, passed away on July 4th, 2021 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on March 14th, 1973 in Kansas City, Missouri to Gregory Dean Wells and Carol Anita Wells. He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from Vanhorn High School.

He began work for Kansas City, Missouri as an Equipment Operator where he worked for many years. When he left, he then started working for Woodley Maintenance Service for two years and soon joined the Titan Security Company Team until his passing.

He was baptized at his family church, Corner Stone Baptist Church, in his early 20’s.

Anthony Wells “AKA” A. Wells enjoyed spending time with his family, he especially loves getting together on Holidays and anytime the family had get togethers. He really loved his son Anthony and his grandchildren. His smile would light up any room, and his jokes kept everyone rolling. The man could imitate the best of them and you would really think you were hearing the person he was imitating.

He loved to dress nice and smell good. The family has definitely lost another one of our great soldiers. A. Wells really looked up to, and appreciated his big brother: Vernon, whom he would always fuss and argue with when Vernon tried to set him straight, but he really loved him wholeheartedly.

We know you are resting well with your father, mother, and brother. You will truly be missed. We will meet again.

He was preceded into death by Gregory and Carol Wells, and David Washington.

He is survived by his son: Anthony Wells Jr.; daughter: Anika White; brother: Vernon Wells Sr. (Sandy); brother: Barnett Gregory (Keyona); grandchildren: Zamirra Wells and Amelia Jones.

Due to COVID-19, please respect social distancing and face covering guidelines. Temperature checks will be enforced.
