Antrice M. Byers

Antrice Mickell Byers was born on November 2, 1970, in Kansas City, Missouri.  Antrice was the beloved daughter of Hurley Byers and Goldie (White) Byers and departed this life on September 28, 2024.

A graduate of Van Horn High School, Antrice held various jobs throughout her life, bringing her unique energy and kindness to every role.  Despite her declining health, she continued to enjoy traveling, dancing, every valuable moment spent with her family, and taking pictures.  Known for her infectious personality, Antrice was truly one of a kind, always the life of the party.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceding Antrice in death are her father, Hurley Byers; grandmothers, Betty Leapheart, Everlee White; great-aunt, Bessy Lawson; and nephew, Tommy, Jr.

Remaining to cherish Antrice’s memory are her mother, Goldie Byers of Kansas City, Missouri; godmother, Joyceteen Roseburr (Sylvester) of Kansas City, Missouri; her siblings, one brother, Cortez Byers of Kansas City, Missouri, sisters, Rhonda Byers of Kansas City, Missouri, Alice Holloway (Tommy) of Kansas City, Kansas, and Pam Harris (Steve) of Country Club Hills, Illinois.

Antrice is also remembered with love by BreAsia, Cortez, Montez, DeAndre, Tiara, Antoino, Alicia, Torrey, who she cherished as her own as well as a bonus son, Calvin; aunts, Alberta Harvey and Gwendolyn Hemmingway, both of Kansas City, Missouri; Marcell Toney of Commerce Township, MI; uncle, Carlton White of Kansas City, Missouri, and a host of cousins and friends.
