Arlester Eugene Scott Sr. (Brother Jabar), was born April 5, 1947 to the union of Mr. James L. Scott, Sr., and Ms. Betty G. Scott (Moore). His earthly name was Arlester Eugene Scott given by his parents and raise by his stepfather Mr. Alvin Moore

Brother Jabar was accepted and adopted into Islamic Temple and was given the Holy name Brother Jabar.  All praises given unto the Higher Spirit for his acceptance unto the temple. Salah!!

August 1965 Arlester married his first Love Georgianna (Abrought) to this union two children were born son Arlester Eugene Scott, Jr. and one daughter Carmelita Scott. All though this marriage ended Arlester and Georgianna had a special bond that kept them caring and loving friends throughout his lifetime.

Brother Jabar later married Ms. Belinda (Hines) Scott (proceeded him in death) from this union a son was born Jabar Eugene Scott.

He was proceeded in death by His parents and stepfather, son Arlester E. Scott Jr., daughter Ms. Lynn Wallace, significant other of 22 years Ms. Carla Bufford, Three brothers Nelson V. Grey, James L. Scott, Jr. and Orville W. Scott, and Three sisters Mazella Smith, Deborah Madden and Alvenia Moore.

He attended Elementary school and Manual High School in the Kansas City, Mo school district. As a young man he was employed by the city of Kansas City, Mo. As a Laborer.

Brother Jabar was known and respected as a well-dressed “man of distinction. A very distinguished dresser. He was known as Les Scott, known as Big Les to the Abrought family and his son as Baby Les.

He created laughable fun times with his brothers and sisters. Les had a special bond and respect for his oldest sister Goldie. Sister Marilyn as one of the younger siblings looked up to her big brother, also did all within in her love for her brother to be there for him during his time of illness. His relationship with brother Frog and Blue were inseparable. Les always looked after his younger brothers Keith and Chucky. The Love the sisters and brothers shared was implanted by an extraordinarily strong and Loving Mother.

Brother Jabar was a self- educated law counselor helping many family members and friends with legal matters. Brother Jabar held a job working with children with special needs. He had heartfelt love for helping children especially those with special needs.

He leaves to cherish his memories Sons- Tyrone E. Scott, Jermain Scott, Jabar Scott, Jabrill and Jabrell Scott all of Kansas City, MO. Sons not by birth by Love-Herbert Lewis Jr, Cedric Bufford and Keith Bufford of Kansas City, Mo., Daughters- Ms. Carmelita Scott, and Ms. Clarissa Brooks (Brian)

Brothers-Keith Moore (Linda) and Aaron Moore (Rekita), Sisters- Goldie (Scott) Houston (Charles}, Marilyn Hughes,     15 Grandchildren, 5 Great grandchildren, 8 Great-great grandchildren all of Kansas City, MO and a host of, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and the Brothers and Sisters of the Islamic Temple of Kansas City MO.

Georgianna Abrought-Scott-Lewis, Close Friend Mr. Mark Denmons, Ms. Ivy Yates-Loving Mother of Jabrill and Jabrell , Ms. Brenda Henderson Loving Mother of Clarissa and Lifelong Friend Ms. Ruby Duran of Los Angeles CA,s, CA , Special niece Jameshia (MeMe) Scott, who went to her uncles aid during his illness.
