Arlondo Lee Perkins

Arlondo Lee Perkins (Londo-Big Little Brother), 31, passed away January 27, 2018 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born January 5, 1987 in Kansas City, Missouri to Curtis H. Perkins, II., and Willinda L. Perkins. He grew up in KCMO. He was a proud member of Center High School class of 2006. After High School he attended Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas, where he studied vocal music.

As a youth, Arlondo gave his life to Christ during Vacation Bible School at Palestine Baptist Church. God blessed Arlondo with many gifts and talents that he used by participating in The Angel Choir, The Gospelaire Choir, Junior Usher Board, Royal Ambassadors, Sunday School and wherever he was asked to serve. He developed a special love for music and youth at a young age. As a teenager, Arlondo became an original chorister and an advocate for the Kansas City Boys Choir. As an adult he sang in various choirs around Kansas City, Missouri. In 2011, Arlondo joined Fidelity Masonic Lodge #103. Arlondo’s 11-year fight with end-stage renal failure did not stop his passion for working with children. He spent years volunteering at Camp Palestine. He also worked for Freedom Schools and the YMCA. He was most recently employed by Amazon.

He was preceded in death by his father; Curtis Herman Perkins, II., sister; Tera Eason, maternal grandmother; Mildred Perkins, uncle; Joe Perkins, and paternal grandfather; Curtis Herman Perkins, Sr.

He is survived by his mother; Willinda L. Perkins, brother; Curtis Herman Perkins, III., sisters; Cassandra Eason (Dan Sewell), Nicole White (Winslow), Carla Bromfield (O’Neill) and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
