Audra R. Mcleod

Audra Renee McLeod Johnson was born on April 9th, 1970, in Kansas City, Missouri. Her grandparents, Leora, and Caloude Gantt Sr; aunt, Florence; uncles, Clifford Gantt I, and George Gantt precedes her in death.

Our heavenly father called Audra home on October 3, 2023.

Audra graduated from Paseo high school class of 88. After high school she held several corporate positions. In 2012 Audra and her husband became the founders of Family United where they kept families connected with transportation services. Audra and Avon Johnson became one in holy matrimony on July 18th, 2009. Audra continued furthering her education. She received her master’s degree in business and science at Webster University. Audra was a pillar in the community. She was the founder of Premier Vettes KC Finest Established in 2018. She also helped with foster children, was an advocate with Healing Pathway Victim services and assisted with organizations such as Piece Rides and so many more.

Audra was loved by many. Audra was a loving and giving person who deeply cared for her family and close friends. She was such a sweet and caring person and literally wanted to help everyone she met. Her favorite sayings were even “I got to help him" and “Checking In”. She loved her family, cooking, shopping, music, car shows, traveling, fashion, watching her favorite TV shows Tyler Perry’s Sistas and the Oval and don’t forget that ice cold Pepsi! Audra was always the voice of reason.  She was very pleasant and peaceful and did not like drama or confrontation. Her laughter would light up a room, it was contagious. Her social media was always uplifting and informational. From her acts of compassion and kindness to being selfless and considerate of others. She was truly an Angel who will forever live in our hearts.

She leaves to cherish her life and legacy: her husband, Avon Johnson; children, Dominique Peterson, Jamel Peterson, Emarion Kerr, Avon John Jr (AD), stepchildren; Ashlynn, Devonta, Asia, Abrianna and TyJae; parents, Beverly McLeod, and Caloude Gantt Jr.(Dee); mother and father-in-Law, Josephine and Robert Mckinney; grandmother, Joyce Robinson McGregor; siblings Steven Caldwell, Domonic McLeod (Tawanna), Brianna Bigers and Ivian Bigers; grandchildren, Jamel Peterson III (Melo), Kaylee, Willie, Addyson,  Amare’; special sister, Karen Butler, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousin, other relatives, and friends.
