Barbara J. Harlin

Barbara Harlin, 79, passed on August 24,2024, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City MO. She was born on October 7, 1944, in Wagoner Oklahoma to Mitchell Harlin and Della Mae

Barnett-Armstrong.

She grew up in Muskogee Oklahoma. She attended high school at Manuel Training High School.

Barbara later moved to Kansas City with her late husband, Johnny Harlin, and that is where she raised her children: Billy Ray Armstrong, Trachelle Wynn, Johnella Harlin, and Ellena Harlin; and

her bonus children Lewis Shoto, Gail Johnson and Margaret Johnson.

Barbara loved to spend time with her family and friends cooking, putting smiles on their faces, and just having a good time.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jonny Harlin, parents Mitchell Harlin and Della Mae Barnett-Armstrong; sisters: Doris Jean Davis and Wilma Jean Harlin; brother: Robert Armstrong;

and son Gail Johnson. Loved ones that remain to lament her passing include her children and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Barbara was loved by many and

will be missed.
