Barbara J. Jones

Barbara Jean Jones was born May 24, 1932 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Etta Mae and Charles Baker. She was preceded by her parents, three siblings, nieces, nephews and her spouse.

Barbara was educated in Muskogee, OK, graduated from Manual High School and moved to Kansas City, Mo. She pursued a career in cosmetology and loved to cook, sew, fish and style hair.

Barbara was with Elgean Bennet, her longtime partner for over 50 years up until his death.

Barbara departed from this life March 27, 2022 surrounded by loved ones.

She leaves behind her daughter Linda Jones, her granddaughter Brandi Jones, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of cherished family and friends.
