Barbara Taylor

Barbara J. Taylor,76, passed away on November 18, 2017 in Kansas City, MO. She was born April 22, 1941 in Leavenworth Kansas to Mary Lee Shepheard and Robert E. Taylor. Barbara accepted Christ at an early age. She received her education in the Kansas City, Missouri school district. She began working for Lakeside Hospital as a Nurse, where she worked for 10 years. Barbara was a private duty nurse and a care giver all her life. She loved to cook and bake. She loved making afghan blankets when she could. On November 13, 2008 she married Louis Hooker. They were happily married for 8 years. Barbara enjoyed life to the fullest.

She is proceeded in death by both parents, Mother; Mary Lee Shepheard, Father; Robert E. Taylor; Siblings; Juanita, Ruth, Mamie, Willie Mae, Lesla Marie Taborn, Brother; Robert E. Taylor Jr., Grandson; Keith Barnes; Robert Barnes, Terrell Barnes, great-granddaughter; Nevaeh Spikes, great nephew; Steven Shepheard

She is survived by her children; James Taylor (ReNeka) Paulette Barnes, Jamesetta Sanders (Michael) of Omaha, Nebraska Misty Taborn (Terry), Kathy Brown of Fort Worth, Texas and host of grand kids, and great- grandkids, and two sisters; Maryetta King, and Martha Ann Shepheard, a special friend of 65 years; Lois Webb
