Barry Packnett Sr

Barry Packnett Sr, 60, was born November 11, 1960 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Nazree (Bell) Reed and Johnny L. Packnett

Barry was educated at Southeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri. While in high school he meets his high school sweetheart Bertha Lee. They were joined in Holy matrimony in December 15 of 1984. During there 16 years of marriage together... God Blessed their union with four children, Lashaunda, Barry Jr., Justin, Latoshia. Later in life Barry Packnett Sr. was blessed to welcome two more sons Torron & Aaron (Torah Greenlaw) to his Packnett family tree, He love & dedicated his life to his family.

Barry Packnett Sr. was an extremely hard-working man...Along his many years of life he built a reputation of being humble, loyal, dedicated employee. Most notable companies were Penn Valley Community College where he worked for many years & UMKC Athletic Department for the last 16 years. While at his many jobs he built friendship that would last a lifetime.

Barry Packnett Sr. Aka (Mr. tell it like it is) ...Enjoyed traveling to his southern Roots of Mississippi & Louisiana. He enjoyed spending time with his Family and Some of his most amazing friends. He enjoyed watching his beloved New Orleans Saint... where the Black & Gold ran thru his blood with Louisiana Pride.

Later, Barry dedicated his life to Christ at Concord Fortress of Hope (Kansas City, MO).

He was preceded into death by his father, Johnny L Packnett; sister, Louise Washington; mother, Nazree(Bell) Reed.

He leaves to cherish his memory; six children, LaShaunda Brown (Sonterio), Barry Packnett JR(Renaurd), Justin Packnett, Latoshia Packnett, Torron Packnett, Aaron Packnett; five grandchildren Amyah Brown, Sonterio Brown Jr, Lorenzo Morgan, Kaylei Russell, Justina Packnett; long term friend Sheila Alexander.
