Benetrius Nichelle Rabb

Benetrius Rabb, aka “Nicky”, 56, passed away on September 20, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.

She was born on July 12, 1969, in Jonesboro, Louisiana to Jackie Black and Maggie Bell Rabb. She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Southeast High School. She was employed with The Groves as a dietary cook for the last four years.

As many didn’t call her Benetrius, but mainly Mama to the kids, or even girl, Nicky, Mama Nicky, Auntie Nicky, and Baby Mama. She is and always will be loved by many people. Everybody knows her as the one to help out, care, give and love to them whenever they need her to. For everybody, that looks different coming from her because she has helped in so many ways and never stopped, even when she could barely help herself. There was never a selfish bone in her body, as she loved everybody.

She is preceded into death by her mother, Maggie Bell Rabb, who passed away on July 21, 2025.

She is survived by children: Keith Bly, Jasmin Fields, Jay’Von Rabb; grandchildren: Kemya Bly, Skylar Bly, Aleaha Bly; aunts: Brenda Rabb-Malone, Joyce Rabb-Butler, and Janice Rabb-Gray, and a host of other relatives and friends.
