Benjamin Keith Muldrew, 53 passed away on June 17th, 2024, surrounded by family at Saint Luke's East in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. He was born November 23rd, 1970, in Gainesville, Florida to Benjamin Muldrew and Mary Lewis. He accepted God at an early age. He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri where he attended Southeast High School and Penn Valley Community College. He later obtained barbering credentials and provided free hair cuts to underprivileged kids in the community.

He worked as a CSR for DST before meeting Lashonda, the love of his life. The two married on August 20, 2005 and were happily married for 18 years, to this union was born three boys. He was a loving, devoted father to all his children. He later moved his family to his hometown of Macclenny, Florida where he worked for AT&T and mentored local youth football. His heart for kids in the community would lead to one of his dearest achievements.

In 2014 he moved back to Kansas City, Missouri and established his own youth football organization the SCM Ridahs. As head coach and mentor to underprivileged children in the community, he provided football and cheer opportunities. Coach Ben, as he was fondly referred to, made a positive impact in the lives of many.

He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Muldrew; step-father, James Lewis; father-in-law, Gary Holloway; and his son Kion Shanklin. He is survived by his wife, Lashonda Muldrew; his mother, Mary Lewis; mother-in-law Effie Austin; his sons Tyrese Muldrew, Julian Fields, Keshawn Sharp, Benjamin Muldrew II, Darrayan Muldrew, and Dacian Muldrew. His brothers Kevin Muldrew (Rosa), Dexter Brown (Ciera), Jordon Lewis; brothers-in-law Kevin Austin, Vincent Holloway; his sisters Rachel Atubi (Ikechukwu), Likenya Jenkins (Damilola), Shakiah Lewis; his sisters-in-law Tiffany Holloway, Breanna Gonzalez, Brittany Holloway. And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
