Bertha May Coleman

Bertha Coleman, 64, passed away on August 17, 2017 at Research Medical Center in KCMO. She was born on August 6, 1953 in Tunica, Mississippi to Dinsmore Baker and Mary Baker.

She grew up in Kansas City, MO.

She began working for Blue Hill Manor as a Patient Assistant where she worked for many years. She married Larry Coleman June 20, 1992 in Kansas City, MO. They were married for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her Father, Dunsmore Baker; Mother, Mary Baker; Siblings, Dinsmore Baker Jr.; Willie Baker; Jimmy Baker; and George Baker and great nephew, Alphonso Pankey.

She is survived by her husband Larry Coleman; children, Lisa Dolphin (Tony Dolphin); William Baker; Shalese Baker, Deana Taylor (Lamar Taylor) and Tony Coleman; sisters Epise Taylor; and Vickie Bartley; 20 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. Special friend Ricky Hicks and Honorary Sister Rena Ramsey.
