Bettye Williams, 72, transition for labor to reward on February 20, 2018 at KU Medical Center, in Kansas City, Kansas. She was born on February 10, 1946 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Bobby Harrell and Lorayne
Cole. She grew up in Muskogee, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Manuel High School.
Bettye began working for City Hall in the Human Resources department as an Assistant. She later became employed with the Kansas City Missouri School District, as the Secretary for Garfield Elementary School, where she later retired.
She is preceded into death by her parents; Bobby Harrell and Lorayne Cole, grandsons; Raheem Marchbanks, and Brandon C. Marchbanks.
She is survived by her daughter; LaTongua Marchbanks; her sons; Tony Harrell, and John Williams, he grandchildren; Reginald Marchbanks (Erin), Joshuwa Marchbanks, Dominque Marchbanks, Justin Owens, Gabriel Williams, Johnice Williams, and Tiana Walker. She also leaves to cherish her memories, her close friends; Brenda McBride, Esster Moton, and Rosemary Staten.
