Beverly Jo Rogers-Sanders

Beverly Jo Rogers Sanders (71) passed away on December 4, 2022 at Lee Summit Medical Center in Lee Summit Missouri. She was born May 11, 1951 in Columbia Missouri to Richard Rogers and Imogene Harvey.

She moved to Kansas City at an early age. She graduated from Bishop Lillis High School in Kansas City Missouri. After high school she attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City where she received a bachelors degree in physical education. She also obtained a nursing degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia. Over her 40 year career, she taught at Bishop Hogan high school (Hogan Preparatory Academy), Archbishop O’Hara high school, Southwest and Benjamin Banneker. During that time, she also worked as a nurse at Blue River and Life Care Center of Grandview. She became a clinical instructor for Penn Valley following her retirement from teaching.

She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.

She was preceded into death by her parents Richard and Imogene.

She is survived by her two sons Miklos, Chè and her grandson Cameron.
