Billy Ray Garry was born March 27th, 1950 in Gurdon, Arkansas to the late John Wesley Garry and Dorothy Garry. He was the seventh of nine siblings. Billy received education from Gurdon public schools then attended a two year vocational training program. He relocated to Kansas City, MO in 1970. He later married the love of his life, Donna Garry April 6, 1991.
Billy was employed by and retired from TWA after 19 years of dedicated service where he was a mechanic servicing and painting airplanes. Billy has always had a love for gardening, restoring and painting vintage cars. He enjoyed watching sports, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He traveled back to his howetown in Gurdon Arkansas yearly to reminise and connect with family and friends.
Billy was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Charles, Larry and Doyle Garry, and two sisters, Frances Powell and Anna Mae Garry. On June 8th, 2023 Billy made his transition.
As the sunset on his life and legacy he leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of thirty-two years Donna Garry; three daughters, Desiree Felder, Deirdre ( DeAndre Sr.) Waldrup and Danielle (Jacora) Garry. One brother, Willie Garry Gurdon, AR; one sister, Annie L. Williams KCMO; three grandchildren, DeAndre Waldrup Jr, Devin Waldrup and Deryn Waldrup; one grandpup Chance Garry. He also leaves to cherish his memory, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
