Listen to Obituary

Bobbie Joe Reynolds was born in Ripley, TN on July 6, 1948, to Joe Livingston Reynolds and Charlie Lou Cherry-Reynolds. Both parents and a granddaughter Takiah “La La” Elliott, preceded him in death. After the family moved to Kansas City, MO, Bobbie was educated in the Kansas City Missouri School District, graduating from East High School in 1966. After graduating from high school, he attended Central Missouri State College for one year. On April 27, 1968, he married the love of his life, Pam L. Lee and to this union three children were born, Craig, Kimberly, and Robyn.

Bobbie started his career working at Armco Steel, that was later purchased by GST Steel, where he dedicated over 35 years of service and retired as a Yard Labor Supervisor. He couldn’t sit still, therefore, he decided to come out of retirement and get a job with the Kansas City Missouri School District as a Millwright worker for the next 14 years.

Bobbie accepted Christ as his personal savior at a young age. He loved to ride motorcycles and fix cars. A fond memory of his love for cars was his “CLEAN” 1973 White ‘98 Oldsmobile with a maroon top. He also loved fixer upper projects. You asked, he delivered and took pride in completing it! He was loved and adored by many, everyone said there is no one like him. Over the years he was given several nicknames. In his motorcycle days, he was known as “Puppy”. Other nicknames were, Bobbie Joe, Suave Bob, Bobbie Love, and PaPa Love. But the most important nickname given to him was by his Honey, which she affectionately called him “Love” and when he made her angry it was, “Love Reynolds”.

Bobbie leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of over 53 years, Pam L. Reynolds; one son, Craig T. Reynolds (Nicole) of Las Vegas, NV; two daughters, Kimberly M. (Missy) Reynolds-Gray and Robyn R. (Muffin) Reynolds both of Kansas City, MO; one sister, Patricia M. Reynolds of Kanss City, MO; two brothers, William H. Reynolds (Stephanie) of Raymore, MO and Richard C. Reynolds of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Zoie Reynolds, Jaylen Ivy, Genesis Reynolds, Jordan Ivy, and Logan Reynolds; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
