Bobby Joe Tolliver

Bobby Joe Tolliver, was born on July 3, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri, and passed away on April 1, 2024 in Kansas City Missouri at the age of 68. He was preceded in death by: his Father J.B. Tolliver and Mother Odessa Tolliver (Maudie Ree Freeman);the love of his life, His Wife Ella Tolliver; his Son Bobby J. Tolliver, Jr.; his brother and best friend Larry Tolliver; a Brother Charles Freeman; a Sister Sandra Ward; a Grandson Clarence Lyons; and a special friend Keenan Wallace.

Bobby grew up in Kansas City, Mo and attended WW Yates Elementary School, and Graduated from Manuel High School in 1973. At the age of 18 Bobby enlisted in the US Army, he valued his service highly.

Bobby moved to California where he was employed and worked for the City of Pasadena for over 30 years and retired in 2014.

Bobby was an Adamant Raiders Fan.

He is survived by: his three daughters, Norrise King (Brian), Botreece Dunn (Elliott,) and Joshualyn Tolliver; 5 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, and 10 great grandchildren. Sisters: Judy Steward, Mary Woodard, Carla Freeman, and Kelley Freeman- Chambers (Kyrus); cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
