Bobby Rydell Williams, 55, departed this life on February 5, 2022. He was born on December 2, 1966 in Kansas City, MO to Lynn and Curtis Williams.
Bob was a very dedicated and hard-working man. He was educated in the Kansas City Public School district. He was employed at Metrie Industries for the past 4 years as a warehouse worker. He naturally took on the role as a protector for his family and he took the role very seriously. He loved his family more than anything in this world and only held God above them. When leaving them he would always make sure that they locked their doors and left out with his infamous saying, “one luv”. He did NOT play about his family especially his sisters and nieces.
Bob accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior under the leadership of Bishop Travis C. Shockley at Greater Works Church where he was a faithful member and was also an armor bearer.
He was preceded in death by his father Curtis Williams, son Rydell Williams, two siblings; Curtis Williams and LaVonne Brooks, and his nephew Richard Preston III.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, 4 brothers: Gary Williams, Lawrence Williams, Anthony Brooks, John Brooks, 6 sisters: Lenora Williams, Monique Williams, Kim Brooks, Amanda (Eugene) Thomas, Shaneika (Ronnie) Brantley, Pamela Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, a special friend Claudette Robinson as well as other family members that loved him deeply.
