Booker Bailey

Booker Bailey, 88, passed away on August 13, 2021, at Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on February 20, 1933 to Joe Bailey.

He was self-employed as a Logistic/Deliverer where he worked for 55 years. He was involved in gardening, cooking and fishing. He married Lovie Bailey on April 5, 1997 in Kansas City, Missouri. They were happily married for 24 years.

He was preceded into death by both parents: Joe, and Joy Bailey; brother: Rudolph Bailey; grandson: Jevon Bailey; stepchildren: Michelle Omordion, Marsha Marshall, Brenda Stewart, and Kevin Beals, all preceded him in death.

He is survived by spouse: Lovie Bailey; three sons: Bruce, Barry and Byron Bailey; two stepsons: Ellery Beals (Charlesetta), Kenneth Beals (Tiffany), a host of grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to each and every one who called, prayed, everybody that brought food, drinks, cards, and calls. We appreciate the kindness; we love you all.
