Brenda Starr Strickland

Brenda Starr Strickland was born July 12, 1964 to the union of Arthur and Gertrude Strickland.

She was baptized at an early age and joined Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church on September 21, 1980 under the direction of Rev. Dr. Joseph Clark.

Brenda received her education in the Kansas City Missouri School District. She worked in many capacities of home healthcare.

She was well loved throughout Kansas City, especially by those that she grew up with on 50th Terrace. She loved being around family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memory three brothers: Michael Strickland, Keith Strickland, and Christopher (Rozson) Strickland; one sister, Lisa Strickland, twenty-one nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Brenda’s parents, Arthur and Gertrude Strickland; sisters: Renee McGautha and Linda Strickland; brother, Gregory (Bert) Strickland; two nieces, Santesha Johnson, and Shanika Strickland preceded her in death.
