Calvin LaSalle Maddox Jr.

Calvin LaSalle Maddox Jr., affectionately known as "Boo" passed away on June 13, 2025. He was born on November 25, 1982, in Kansas City, Missouri to Calvin LaSalle Maddox Sr. and Debra Garner-Maddox.

Calvin grew up in Kansas City. He was educated in the Kansas City Public School District, graduating from Metro Tech High School. After high school he attended MCC-Longview College in 2009 - 2011, where he earned an Associate's Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. He then furthered his education attending University of Missouri -Kansas City from 2014 - 2016 where he earned a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering. After graduating from college Calvin worked as an Electrical Engineer for some of the top engineering companies for over eight years.

In Calvin's free time, he enjoyed playing basketball, going to the gym, reading “The Word”, and spending time with all of his family.

Left to cherish Calvin's memory: his "Two Sweethearts", his "Pride and Joy", his beautiful daughters: Kyra Avalashae Maddox and Kaylee Alise Maddox; his grandmother, Helen Garner; father, Calvin L. Maddox Sr.; mother Debra Garner-Maddox; brothers: Marco R. Maddox (TaKia), and Ronald Harris; sisters: Ciera Harris, Kiera Looney and stepsister, Lachelle Maddox; three nieces: MarKia, RaLynn and Khari; his only nephew, Marco Jr.; the mother of his children, LaTisha Frost; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving family and friends.
