Calvin Rayford

Calvin Rayford, 65 transitioned on January 10, 2019 at his home in Scott City, Missouri. He was born on October 19,1956 in Kansas City, Missouri to Willie Rayford and Mary E. Rayford. Calvin grew up in Kansas City and was educated in the Kansas City School District. As a child Calvin confessed a hope in Christ and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Calvin worked several years for the Pepsi Bottling Company. Calvin was passionate about vintage cars. After leaving Pepsi he pursed his passion and opened his own business, Custom Craft Auto Body in the Hickman Mill area. After leaving Kansas City he continued to work with cars until he became too ill to continue. While working at Pepsi Bottling Company he met and married his first wife. In 2012 Calvin married a second time.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Mary E. Rayford of Grandview Mo., His wife Kimberly D. Rayford, Scott City Mo. Two sons: Brett Rayford and Christopher Rayford of Scott City, MO. Two daughters: LaTocha Coppage of Kansas City MO. And Alana Rayford Popular Bluff, MO. One brother Rev. William Rayford (Emma) and three sisters: Larzie Berry (Charlie) of Memphis TN. Daisey Taylor (Jesse) and Delores King (Chris) of Kansas City MO. A god sister, Ethalia Jones of Dallas TX. Four grandchildren: Kevin, KhiRice, Isaac and Ikeiea all KCMO. And a host of nieces, nephews’ other relatives and friends.
