Candy L Wedlow

Candy L. Wedlow departed this life on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at her home in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was born on September 10, 1982 in Kansas City, Missouri to LaVerne Wedlow.  She graduated from De LaSalle High School, and then attended Penn Valley College where she received an Associate’s degree in business.

Candy began working for The KC Call Paper as a Business Manager for 20 years.  She also became a Real Estate Specialist and was a mentor to the young ladies at DeLaSalle High School.

Candy being the baby girl of the family, was really the “big little sister” of the family.  If you needed her help for anything, she was more than willing to help you.  She loved to travel, music, fashion, and spending time with her family and friends.  She was everything to our family, and she will truly be missed.

She is preceded in death by her son, LaVontte Wedlow; her sister, Brandy Wedlow; her grandmother, Anna Dell Wedlow; and her god-mother, Donna Stewart.

She is survived by her mother, LaVerne Wedlow; her mother and father, Sharon & Terry Frazier; her sisters, Totia Wedlow, SueVonia Phillips, and Raneissa Mekuria; her brothers, Leroy Wedlow, Randy Wedlow, and Sandy Wedlow; her special friends, Tenesia “Tish” Herron, DeAnthony Cooper, and Teresa Brooks, and a host of other relatives and friends.
