Carl E Jones

Carl Edward Jones, 64, passed away April 10, 2020 at home. He was born October 19, 1955 in Proctor, Arkansas to Saul Jones, Jr., and LeeAnna Jones.

Carl received his education in Kansas City Missouri School District and later earned a degree in electrical, and refrigeration at Penn Valley. In 1973 he joined the Army and served for 8 years, then continued to be active in the Army National Guard for 15 years. He worked at St. James Place as a Maintenance Supervisor for several years.

He was preceded in death by: father, Saul Jones Jr.; grandson, Aden Jones; brother, Carnel Jones; both maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, and nephew.

Carl is survived by: his beloved wife of 17 years, Tonja Hicks-Jones; two sons, Jasen L. Jones, and Nicholas Jones; two stepsons, Cortez Hicks, California, and Christopher Hicks; one grandson, Savion Jones. His precious mother, LeeAnna Jones; two brothers, Carter L. Jones, and Saul Jones, Colorado; four sisters, Betty Jones, Minneapolis; Peggy Jones-James (Alvin); Carla McAdoo (Jimmy), and Carol Jones (Shelia). Also, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
