Carl L Stewart, 36,passed away on April 4th, 2023 in Kansas City, MO. At a young age Carl was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost at New Life Worship Center under the leadership of Suffragan Bishop Clyde M Irvin.
He was born on Saturday January 3rd, 1987, in Kansas City, MO at Truman Hospital to Anthony Stewart and Brenda Hampton. Carl attended Martin Luther King in Kansas City, MO. Carl enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was the second oldest of seven siblings. He was known for making everyone laugh. No matter how you were feeling when around Carl, he could and would always make you smile. Telling jokes was his second job. He also loved to dance and have a good time. He was definitely the life of the party.
Carl Stewart was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, godfather, cousin and friend. Carl was in a dance group called Joda (Just Out Doing All). In 2001 they attended a music concert in Beverly Hills, California. He was always prepared to have a dance battle with anyone, at any event. He was known for his line dances, everyone would watch how Carl would effortlessly did every dance move. He enjoyed working and spending his free time with those he loved. He had a nickname for everybody he knew. He had a love for music, to demonstrate his talent, he tried free-styling in front of small family groups, making everyone laugh. Carl had a love for food and snacks. His favorite meal was chicken. He loved Ranch sunflower seeds, Grape pop, and Chili Cheese Fritos. He was also well known in his neighborhood. Carl’s neighbors loved talking to him and Carl always showed his love back. To combine his love for both food and his neighborhood, he opened his own candy store. He had the pleasure of serving his community, as well as, family because everyone loved the idea of his candy store. He had a love for his neighborhood, and wanted to show how much in a unique way.
Carl lived his life to the fullest. Everyone knowing Carl has a endless amount priceless memories that will be kept forever. He had the power to make event brighter and worth attending. Carl would walked through any door with a positive attitude and brought his contagious laughter.
He was preceded into death by his cousin James Byers, Monroe and Rose L. Irvin (maternal great grandparents), John Hampton (maternal granddad), Frank Bryant and Consuella Stewart (paternal grandparents), Michelle Byers (maternal aunt), Rose M Irvin (maternal great aunt), Lawrence Irvin (maternal great uncle), Darrick Irvin (maternal cousin),George Sir and Beatrice Brown (paternal great grandparents), Edmon Alexander (paternal cousin), Laura Harvey (paternal great aunt), Janelle Harvey (paternal great aunt) and John Hampton Jr. (maternal uncle).
He is survived by his parents Brenda Hampton and Anthony Stewart, Grandmother Linda Robinson, six siblings Anthony Stewart Jr. (Tanya), Eric Hampton (Leisha), Cornelius Stewart, Antonio Stewart (Alexandria), Consuella Stewart and Arthur Pickett (TyKeyah), seven aunties Joyce Hampton, Linda Hampton, Ericka Phillips (Lamonte), Theresa Harvey, Lisa Turner, Cheryl Turner and Veronica Winfrey, one uncle Kevin Turner, close cousins Linda Childs (Aaron) and Brian Hollis (Kaneisha), 16 nieces and nephews and 1 great nephew, host of great uncles,great aunts, godchildren, cousins, best friends and friends.
