Carletta Renee Jones “NaNa”, was born on July 24, 1969 to Lonze Jones and Billy Adair. She received her education in the Kansas City Missouri School District. NaNa was a loving and caring person who was always committed and loyal to her family and friends. NaNa’s personality was as big as her heart. She left an everlasting memory with all those who met her. She wanted nothing but the best of the best for her family. She will be remembered by her loving heart and her desire for the finer things in life.

In 1991 NaNa met the love her life Jason Higgs, who later became her husband in 2003. Through this union their golden child Jason “The Kid” Higgs was born. Jason brought a continuous amount of happiness to her. NaNa and Lil Jason were inseparable. They were each other’s pride and joy. Jason’s accomplishments were the highlight of her life. Their admiration for one another was very astonishing.

NaNa had a passion for providing care for individuals with mental/physical disabilities. She had such a caring heart. Her employment was fulfilled by being a private duty caretaker. She did all that she could for her great nieces and nephews and little cousins. They all meant the world to her.

Preceded in death is her husband Jason Higgs, mother Lonze Pierce, father Billy Joe Adair, granny Gladys Cabine, grandfather Joseph Adair Sr, father in law Thomas Higgs Sr, nephew Mark Jackson, niece Ialiyah Pennington, brother in law Jacob Higgs. 3 uncles Charles Jones Sr, Ernest Jones Sr, William Jones and her favorite cousin Andre “Bubbled Eyed” Jones.
