Carletta M. “Watts” McBrayer, passed away on July 14, 2021, at home in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on October 12, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri to Claimon R. Watts Sr. and Dorothy M. Watts. She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated High School in Kansas City, Missouri.

She began work for Ford Motor Company as a Line Operator where she worked for 13 years. She was involved in Serving the poor at Hope House . She married Alan Reed McBrayer in June 2004 in Kansas City, Missouri. They were happily married for 17 years.

She was preceded into death by parents: Claimon and Dorothy Watts; siblings: Brenda “Llyod” Newman, Douglas Watts, Donna Watts, Kenneth Watts, Alice M. Watts, Kimberly Watts; grandparents: Lonnie and Odell Watts, Inez Luther and Slyvester Blake.

She is survived by husband: Alan Reed McBrayer; siblings: Alice Faye “Roger” Lewis of Texas, Claimon R. Watts Jr., Inez Watts, Marsha Watts Kirkland, Myra Watts, Violet “Kelly” Munerlyn, Steve Watts of California, and Charles Watts; and sister-in-law: Towana Watts.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to everyone who prayed, called family thanks everyone for your comfort and support.
