Carmen E. Johnson was a mother, sister, grandmother, friend or just a shoulder to cry on.
She was always there to help if anyone needed her. She never judged anyone. She loved you for who you were. Her heart was bigger than her existence. Her smile and dimples were what stood out about her the most. She loved her family and friends greatly. There will never be another. If she was for you, she would dare anyone to be against you. She was one of a kind
Carmen was preceded into death by her mother and father, Idella Gardener and Sam Scales, her son, Carlos Green, and three sisters, Annie Powell, Linnie Burrel and Cleaster Gardener.
Carmen is survived by three children, Bodisha (Shavonda) Gardener, Ellery Gardener, and Idella Gardner,
thirteen grandchildren, Avianna, Zaterion, Izonnie, Ronnie Jr, Ronya, Alianna, Alphonso, Te'Ira, Ivon, Josiah, Jayden, Jamari, and Kannon, four siblings, Darlene Brown, Rosalind Gardener, Denise Gardener, William Gardener, nieces and nephews, Sam, Shabby, Candy, KiKi, Kemore, Hennesy, Jodie, Joie, WeWe, Bookie Prince, Deauntae, Juan, Shabby, Seville, Mark, Mercedes, Deone, and November, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
