Carol Jeanette Williams

Ms. Carol Jeanette Williams, age 69, was born February 14, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri, to James Kenneth Williams Sr. and Lois Jean (Ferguson) Williams. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; son Maurice Williams Sr.; sisters: Laura Allen, Sharon Aaron, Fostina Spencer, and Wanda Dennis; and her brothers: Lester Daniel Sr., Willie Daniel Sr., Donald Williams, Steven Williams, George Robinson, and Steven Robinson.

Carol received her education in the Kansas City School District, she later received her GED, and went on to earn a degree in nursing, which she worked and loved until she no longer could work. She was also a dedicated childcare provider. Carol accepted Christ as a child, and she was baptized at Mt Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.

Carol had a deep love for her family and friends. She provided a lot of wisdom and knowledge. She never met a stranger, and she loved to cook soul food for them. You could smell the food from outside, and we will miss her homemade chicken and dumplings and apple-peach cobbler. Carol would do anything for anyone to help them. Carol loved to play dominoes and cards at family gatherings where she could talk stuff when she was winning, she loved to dance and she loved to 2-step. Her laughter and smile were contagious. She always made you feel welcome.

Carol met and married Ronald Roane, and they later divorced. Carol had a deep and special love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; they meant the world to her, and she meant the world to them. When Carol became ill, she was loved and cared for by Linda Wells, Maliyah Robins, and her niece/bonus daughter, Belinda, and they shared an unbreakable bond. She will be very deeply missed.

Carol leaves to cherish her memory: her love, Jesse Anderson; daughter, Marcina Williams; stepdaughters, Jasmine Anderson, and Tamara Anderson; bonus daughter/niece, Belinda Rochester (Demonte); grandchildren: Ry’Shaunda Reed, Aric Reed, Perry Clark Jr., Ja’Mya Clark, Maurice Williams Jr., Tremon Handson, and Malik Williams; several great grandchildren; brothers: James Williams Jr. (Faye), Cedric Williams, Malcolm Robinson (Vern), and Keith Robinson; her sister, Rita Buchanan; sisters-in-law, Alma Daniel and Rita Daniel; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
