Carolyn N Elmore

Ms. Carolyn Elmore was born July 24th, 1949 in Kansas City, Kansas to Bishop Parker and Dorothy Conner. Carolyn was later adopted by her grandparents Elder Henry & Irene Elmore, all have preceded her in death.

She received all of her education in the Kansas City, Kansas school district. She later received her certification skilled nursing and studied journalism at Kansas City Kansas Community College. Carolyn accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of the Church of God in Christ. She rededicated her life in 2015 at Praise Chapel Christian Fellowship (Kansas City). She followed her rededication with being baptized by Pastor Kelly Lohrke (Praise Chapel Kansas City, KS) & her son in-law Pastor Westley L. Norris (Praise Chapel Liberty, MO).

Carolyn loved spending time with her family, mostly her grandchildren who were the highlight of her life in her eyes. She loved going to church at Praise Chapel and faithfully watched online even during her time in the hospital. She was very thankful to all that visited her in the hospital and it truly made her feel loved and appreciated. She was looking forward to serving as a greeter upon her return church. Her warm spirit & bright smile touched everyone she came in contact with. We all know even on this she is smiling with our Heavenly Father each one of us and dancing with Jesus.

Survivors: Best Friend Sandy Smith, Sons Gylde Elmore (Kelly) and Adrian Elmore (Joslyn), Daughter Neia Norris (Westley). She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Kyera, Adrian Jr., Kaylee, Naomi, Kaiden and Kinsley all of Kansas City, KS. She also leaves a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
